As the first full time employee I was involved in everything from research to wireframing, designing, prototyping, and testing of our 6 apps. I worked closely with Engineers, Marketing and the CEO in a fast paced environment. I designed marketing material, ads and packaging for our Fitness Wearable which is available in Apple Retail Stores worldwide. Moov has won several prestigious design awards including the Red Dot and the IF Award.
I was responsible for the conception, design and management of projects for print and web. My responsibilities included logo design, corporate identity development, corporate design creation, brand strategies, content strategies, web design, application design, ui design, prototyping, social media strategies, planning and supervising of film and photo shoots, photo editing, marketing concepts and presentations.
I gained work experience in Silicon Valley during a six month sabbatical from my Art Director position in Switzerland. My responsibilities at Swipp included creating and managing content for social media channels, social media monitoring, customer support, media outreach, creating weekly blog posts and newsletters, preparing product presentations and providing German translation for documents, website, and user interfaces.
I supported vm-people in community management and helped build the german speaking alternate reality game network folge-dem-kaninchen.de
My work at Kromer Print AG included designing, formatting, editing and pre-press of stationery, books, magazines and packaging including high end photo retouching and typography.
I was involved in all aspects of sign fabrication, from design to on-site installation. I worked with materials such as aluminum, plastic, wood and metal and created signage, vehicle-, display- and window-graphics. My job also included applying color, gilding and manual silk printing.

The study covered design for a range of media like books, magazines, newspapers, posters and web with focus on typography. It included subjects like type creating, color concepts, photography, web development and design, the history of typography and the history of art and design, marketing and communication, and cost management.
The vocational education for desktop publishers & graphic designers covered design for print and web. It included subjects like typography, text-formatting and -editing, photography, photo-editing and -retouching and stylistics.
The Federal Vocational Baccalaureate is an extended general education to supplement apprentices for students with higher learning performance. It included subjects like German, English, French, history, economy, law, mathematics, art and design.
The vocational education for signage design engineers and screen printers focuses on signage manufacturing and installation, design of vehicle graphics, display graphics and window graphics. It included subjects like typography, material knowledge, technical drawing, color theory and design.
